Producer/ Mix Engineer / Composer / and Guitarist Christian Schmidt began his musical career in Germany at the age of four, when he started playing violin and piano. At the age of seven Christian started playing classical guitar. By his eleventh birthday he was performing all over his hometown. He then began to explore other genres such as Jazz, RnB and Pop.
Christian started playing with his own band at different venues around Munich on a weekly basis.
Soon after, he was performing at different locations in Germany (such as Musikmesse Frankfurt), as well as on TV (VIVA, MTV) At the age of 16 Christian was chosen out of hundreds of applicants as a Young-Student at the world famous “Richard Strauss Conservatory” in Munich as the guitar principal. At the same time he started working as a recording assistant and session musician in different recording studios in Munich and began composing for different pop bands and producing them. After graduating from high school Christian moved to New York to work with Grammy winning producer Fran Cathcart (producer for Les Paul, Mariah Carey, etc) at Eastside Sound in Manhattan. Since then Christian has been working as a producer and mix engineer for people like Grammy winning producer Bob Cutarella, singer Alexis Houston, producer Joe Clausell and many more. Christian just finished mixing the upcoming record of piano player and singer Bruno Boehmer Camacho, which is going to be released in March with Sony Germany.
Additionally Christian is working with singer/songwriter Rahmel McDade, writing and producing songs for Melanie Fiona, Leona Lewis and Justin Bieber.
Currently Christian is studying at the renowned Berklee College of Music, where he is collaborating with various other students writing, recording and producing numerous projects.
